The Lilac Scale is for a YA- Adult audience. A demon-elf heir to the crown, the protagonist’s appearance defies beauty standards. Horns, claws, paws, tail, and scaled lilac skin appeal to villainous figures. He is arrogant and has powerful mystical abilities but with a good heart torn by the pain of his past. I tailored his features to confuse the audience and lead them to believe he is the antagonist when he might be the opposite. I also drew his mother and a faithful soldier.
